Suspicious Death in Hopedale Under Investigation

RCMP are investigating a suspicious sudden death of a man in Hopedale.

The investigation of a suspicious sudden death of a 37-year-old-man that occurred in Hopedale on November 19, 2020, is now being led by the RCMP Major Crime Unit.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is engaged, as well as the RCMP Forensic Identification Section.

Residents of Hopedale can expect to see an increased police presence over the next number of days as the investigation continues.
