Suspect in custody after armed robbery in St. John's

On Friday afternoon the RNC responded to a report of an armed robbery in progress on Thorburn Road in St. John's.

After reviewing the CCTV video, the suspect was identified.

Police then attended a residence in the immediate area of Thorburn road and arrested and charged a 40-year-old male with; armed robbery, failure to comply with probation and failure to comply with an undertaking.

The male was held for court.
