Suspect Arrested After Reported Break and Enter in Downtown Area

Police arrested a 35-year-old man after responding to a reported break and enter in progress in the downtown area on September 12.

At approximately 9:30 p.m., members of Operational Patrol Services responded to the report. The homeowner had returned home and discovered someone inside the residence.

The suspect fled the area on foot but was located by officers minutes later and arrested.

The 35-year-old was held in custody to appear before a judge in the morning.
