Suppression efforts continue at fire in Lethbridge

Suppression work on the fire at Sexton Lumber, Lethbridge, affecting the bark pile and nearby forest continues. The wildfire has not grown since Sunday and remains approximately one hectare in size.
Two water bombers are providing air support, with a helicopter bucketing to assist ground crews as they work hot spots and install sprinklers around the edge of the fire.
Local fire departments continue to work on the bark pile. Work on a fire break between the bark pile and nearby forested areas continues.
