Suspects arrested after two separate thefts in St. John's

The RNC responded to two separate thefts in St. John's on Friday.


Officers responded to a theft in progress at a business on Hebron Way at 5:50 pm. Police located the suspect a short distance away upon arrival. The 36-year-old male suspect had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody. The theft investigation is ongoing.


At 10:20 pm police received a call about a theft in progress at a business on Military Road. A lone male entered the location and stole several items. When Police arrived the workers then advised that the same male had stolen from the location several times today. The 45-year-old male suspect was located several hours later and was charged with theft and breaching several court orders. He was held for court in the morning.
