Sudden Death in St. John’s Deemed Homicide

The RNC is treating the death of an 82-year-old female in St. John’s as a homicide.

On March 16 officers responded to a request for assistance from paramedics after they had received a report of a female requiring medical attention in the area of Mitchell Court in St. John’s.

The 82-year-old female was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics.

Police have identified a suspect in connection with the event, and the investigation remains active.
