An area of low pressure will move across Newfoundland tonight and will bring snow, freezing rain, and rain to the Island.
The Avalon and southeast coast will likely only see rain from this event, with about 15 to 30 mm anticipated. Central areas will start to see snow overnight, and as temperatures rise, the snow will transition to freezing rain. Snowfall amounts of about 2 cm are expected. Western areas of the Island will see about 2 cm of snow overnight, with the possibility of ice pellets or freezing rain. Lows from minus 6 to plus 2 are expected.
A few flurries are expected in western Labrador with a chance of flurries in Churchill Falls and Nain. Lows will range from minus 14 to minus 10.
