St. Johns to install more pay stations

The City of St. Johns will be installing more pay stations.

Pay stations will be installed on Harbour Drive, and throughout the downtown core in areas that PayByPhone and Timed Parking currently service.

These new units will operate the same as those already in use on Duckworth Street.

Parking is free in designated pay areas after 6:00 pm on weekdays, all day Saturdays and Sundays, and all statutory holidays.

Pay stations will accept credit cards, debit cards (via the tap function) and mobile payment as payment options.

Due to the high incidence of vandalism, the City has experienced on parking meters in the past, pay stations do not accept cash.
