St. John's to host initiatives for Year of the Arts

On March 27, the Provincial Government announced it would provide $194,000 in funding to the City of St. John's to support Year of the Arts initiatives.

The funding will be used to introduce new initiatives such as markets every second Thursday evening throughout July and August featuring local vendors, artists, and makers with busker-style entertainment. There will also be two concerts at the Downtown Pedestrian Mall this summer, new signage throughout the Downtown Pedestrian Mall, and the beautification of Harvey Road with a companion piece to the Come Home Year mural that was created in 2022.
