Residents and businesses in St. John’s are being asked to provide feedback on proposed neighbourhood plans for the Rennie’s River, Central and Mundy Pond areas.

The City of St. John’s says the plans are intended to apply the goals and policies of the Envision St. John’s Municipal Plan to the local level, helping guide future growth and development in the neighbourhoods.

Public input is being sought on several topics, including the mix of land uses, building height and density, transportation, open spaces, and the protection of natural and cultural heritage features.

City officials say the Central and Mundy Pond neighbourhoods are being studied together because of their proximity and shared characteristics.

The deadline to submit feedback has been extended to March 22, 2026. The city says the responses will help shape the final neighbourhood plans.
