St. John's Remembrance Day Schedule

All offices and facilities in St. John's will be closed today in observance of the Remembrance Day holiday.

Garbage, recycling and yard waste collection will not occur and the Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility will be closed.

All City parking by-laws are still in effect, however paid parking regulations will not be enforced as Monday is a Shops Closing Holiday.

Remembrance Day Parade and Ceremony

The Royal Canadian Legion Newfoundland and Labrador Remembrance Day parade and ceremony will take place today, beginning at the Sergeants’ Memorial, Queen’s Road at 10:10 a.m. The parade will arrive at the National War Memorial at approximately 10:45 a.m., with the ceremony beginning at 10:55 a.m.
