St. John’s Regional Fire Department imposes fire ban

The St. John’s Regional Fire Department has imposed a fire ban.

This ban includes the City of St. John’s, City of Mount Pearl, and Town of Paradise.

The fire ban will remain in effect for a minimum of seven days. An update will be provided on August 11.

This ban includes backyard firepits, chimineas, charcoal BBQs and open fires. Propane firepits and BBQs are permitted.
