St. John's offering bulk and metal collection by appointment

The city of St. John's is offering a free curbside collection for bulk and metal waste by appointment.

Bulk and metal collection will occur by waste area. If your regular collection day is on Monday your pickup will be booked between May 24-28, Tuesday will be booked between May 30-June 3, Wednesday will be booked between June 6-10, Thursday between June 13-17, and Friday between June 20-24. Items must be at the curb by 8 a.m. on the assigned collection date.

Anyone wishing to book an appointment can visit curbitstjohns.ca/schedules, use the ‘St. John’s Waste and Recycling’ app or call Access St. John’s at 311 or 754-CITY (2489).

Bulk waste must have a maximum size of 1.5 m x 1.5 m x 2.15 m, weigh less than 68 kgs, and does not fit inside the garbage carts for automated collection.
