St. John's New Year's Eve Fireworks

The City of St. John’s New Year’s Eve fireworks display will occur at 8:00 pm on New Year's Eve over Quidi Vidi Lake.

In the case of unsuitable weather for fireworks, they will be postponed to 8:00 pm on January 1.

All other City-hosted New Year’s Eve events are cancelled this year including gym activities, skating parties and the Countdown Celebration & DJ event at Quidi Vidi Lake.

The City recommends attendees remain in their vehicles to watch the fireworks. If exiting vehicles or walking to the site, wear a facemask and remain in your bubble with 6 feet physical distance from others.
