St. John's holding Christmas Parade on Sunday

The Annual Downtown Christmas Parade is set to take place on Sunday in St. John's.

The parade will take place on Sunday, November 26th at 12 noon, in the event of inclement weather, the parade will be on December 3rd.

Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable food item or loonies and twoonies in aid of the Community Food Sharing Association as they will be collected by Newfoundland Power employees.

The Food Drive starts at 11:45 am, 15 minutes before the Parade.

Canada Post employees will also be collecting letters to Santa.
