St. John's City Council being sworn in this afternoon

The new St. John's City Council will be sworn in this afternoon.

The swearing-in ceremony will take place at a ceremony in the Council Chambers at City Hall at 3:00 p.m.

As a result of the ceremony, the Committee of the Whole meeting scheduled for October 14 has been cancelled.

Regular Council meetings will resume on October 21.
