St. John’s celebrates strong cruise ship season

The City of St. John’s is celebrating what was a strong 2025 cruise season.
This year, St. John’s welcomed 38 cruise ships, bringing 27,829 passengers and 15,270 crew members to the capital city.
Ships visiting from April to October contributed significantly to local businesses, tourism operators, and the broader economy.
The 2026 cruise season is already shaping up to be another strong year, with 37 ships scheduled to visit, with an anticipated 27,000 to 30,000 passengers.
The first ship will arrive on May 21, 2026.
