St. John's Asking Residents to Conserve Water

St. John’s is asking all residents, as well as anyone who lives or works in a building connected to the City’s water system, to reduce their water use.

Due to an extended period of low precipitation, water levels in drinking water supply areas remain low and have not yet started to recover.

Water conservation measures include:

• Taking shorter showers

• Turning off the tap while brushing your teeth, shaving, or washing your face

• Running dishwashers and washing machines only when they are full

• Fixing any leaking taps or toilets
