St. John's announces events for ChillFest 2023

ChillFest 2023 will be taking place in St. John's From February 11 to 14.

All activities are offered free of charge.

Saturday, February 11 will feature outdoor yoga for all ages and skill levels in Bowring Park. From 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, it's MegaPlay day at Kenmount Terrace.

There will be a skate at The Loop from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm featuring free hot chocolate and your favourite love songs.

On Sunday, February 12 there will be the Freez’n Fun Run beginning at 9:00 am, the event is for all ages and abilities at Bowring Park.

Sit in on the annual Kitchen Party with Fergus O’Byrne and enjoy free, traditional Newfoundland treats.

Finally, dress up as your favourite hero at the Heroes’ Family Fun Afternoon at The Loop.

The fun continues on Monday with a free playgroup at Kenmount Terrace for children 5 and under and their guardians followed by free youth and adult drop-ins Monday night.

There will be free skates at the Mary’s Brown’s Centre, 12:30 and 2:00 pm on February 13 and 14.

On Tuesday there will be free ski and snowshoe rentals at the Winter Activity Centre in Pippy Park. Adaptive equipment is available and must be pre-booked.

Finally, join your sweetheart for a skate at The Loop with decorations, free hot chocolate and sappy love songs, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
