Speed cushions coming to Some St. John's streets

St. John’s has announced additional traffic calming measures that will be implemented on City streets.

Streets that have already trialled temporary traffic calming, and will see permanent installation of speed cushions in 2025 include:

• Empire Avenue between Carpasian Road and Bonaventure Avenue

• Toronto Street between Princess Anne Place and Edmonton Place

• Vinnicombe Street between Larkhall Street and Baird Place

• Ladysmith Drive between Kiwanis Street and Lady Anderson Street

• Durdle Drive between main Road and back Line
  

The permanent speed cushions will be installed during the upcoming construction season.
