Some fuels see large decreases

There are some big drops in fuel prices this week.


Gasoline is the exception; it is down by 0.5 cents. Gas is now trading at 145.1 cents per litre on the Avalon, 146.2 in the Corner Brook area, and 152.3 cents in Western Labrador.


On the Island, diesel is down by 9.8 cents and in western Labrador. Diesel in western areas of Labrador decreased by 12.6 cents per litre.


Furnace oil heating fuel on the Island dropped by 8.51 cents. Stove oil heating fuel in western Labrador dropped by 10.88 cents per litre.


Propane increased 2.4 cents.


The next regularly scheduled price adjustment is on Friday, February 27, 2026.
