Snow will begin overnight for most of Newfoundland. Along the west coast, snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm are expected. The South Coast will see snow mix with or change to ice pellets with about 5 cm expected, although amounts could be higher inland and over higher terrain. Central Newfoundland will see about 5 cm of snow also. On the Northern Avalon, 2 to 4 cm of snow is possible. Winds overnight will gust to 80 km/h in the Port aux Basques area and will be unnoteworthy elsewhere. Lows will range from minus 11 to 0.

Snow will begin in weather Labrador before morning. Most other areas will experience clear skies with some clouds moving in overnight. Lows will range from minus 26 to minus 16.
