Smoke causing poor visibility in the Walsh River area

The RNC is advising that due to the smoke in the area of Walsh River outside Labrador City, visibility is poor on the highway.

Motorists using Route 500 are asked to drive with caution, reduce speeds and avoid this area if possible.

Smoke is present across many areas of Labrador this morning.
