Sizeable increase in fuel prices

If you are buying any type of fuel today, you will notice an increase.

The price of gas has jumped 6.6 cents. Diesel in Newfoundland is up 8.7 cents and 8.6 cents in western Labrador.

Furnace oil will cost an extra 6.62 cents per litre.

Stove oil on the Island is up 7.15 cents while stove oil in western Labrador jumped 7.62 cents per litre.

Propane heating fuel increased by 1.3 cents.

Brent Crude Oil closed the trading day yesterday at $81.44.
