Single vehicle crash leaves vehicle with significant damage in a St.John’s neighbourhood

At around 12:25 a.m. on Sunday Firefighters responded to a collision on Moss Heather Drive in St.John’s, when crews arrived on scene a single vehicle had collided into a light pole and a parked pick-up truck, the vehicle then coming to a rest.

Neighbours said they seen two people run away from the vehicle when emergency services arrived on scene.

A knife was located on a sidewalk near by it is unknown if it is connected to the people in the collision. The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary’s Police Dog Service and Forensics identification section attended the scene.

The vehicle that collided with the light pole had significant damage it is unknown what the cause of the collision is.
