Significant damage to commercial building after fire in St. John's

On Sunday evening the St. John’ Regional Fire Department and RNC responded to a structure fire on Freshwater Road in St. John’s.

A commercial building sustained significant damage as a result of the fire.

For a time, eastbound traffic was reduced to one lane between Stamps Lane and Crosbie Road.

The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
