Sherry Gambin-Walsh Wins Liberal Nomination in Placentia- St. Mary’s #nlpoli

Sherry Gambin-Walsh announced that she will once again be running under the Liberal Party banner in the district of Placentia- St. Mary’s in the next provincial election.

Andrew Pretty was the other candidate seeking the nomination.

On September 9 of this year, RCMP stated that Gambin-Walsh broke cabinet confidentially by leaking information to Paul Didham, a senior police officer with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary.

The RCMP stated that Gambin-Walsh would not be charged criminally as no one benefited from the information; however, Premier Furey did not reappoint her to the cabinet.
