Several residents displaced following house fire in Mount Pearl, Saturday night

Shortly before 9:40 p.m, on Saturday February 8th 2025, The St. John's Regional Fire Department (SJRFD) responded to a house that was filled with smoke on Frontenac Avenue in Mount Pearl.

Upon arrival, Fire crews were met with smoke and flames coming out of the residence, Firefighters made quick work and knocked down the intense flames and used a fan to remove smoke from the home.

Several people lived at the residence, and it is unclear how many people were inside the home when the fire broke out. There were no serious injuries reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
