Several people injured, two males arrested following disturbance in East-End St John's, Friday night

At approximately 9:45 p.m. Officers with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) responded to a reported disturbance in the east end of St. John’s. Upon arrival, Officers located

several persons with injuries, Police did not disclose anymore information regarding the severity of the injuries reported and/or if anyone was transported to hospital.


The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Criminal Investigation Division (CID) were called to assist

with the investigation and as a result two males were arrested.


One male was charged with the following:

  • Assault with a weapon

  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

  • Mischief (Property Damage)


The second male was charged with the following:

  • Assault

  • Assault with a weapon

  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

  • Mischief (Property Damage)


Police transported both males to the St. John's City Lock-up.
