Several emergency closures in central

Due to staffing shortages, there are several health centres closed to emergency patients in Central Newfoundland.

The Fogo Island Health Centre, Connaigre Peninsula Health Centre, A.M. Guy Memorial Health Centre, and the Dr. Y.K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre are closed now until Tuesday, October 18 at 8:00 am.

The Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre is also closed and will reopen on Monday at 11:00 am.

Residents requiring emergency services during this time are advised to call 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency room.
