Serious accident on Veterans Memorial Highway

UPDATE: The Veteran’s Memorial Highway between Bay Roberts and North River is now open to traffic in both directions.

Bay Roberts RCMP and Traffic Services East are currently responding to a serious motor vehicle collision on the Veterans Memorial Highway..

The highway is closed between Bay Roberts and North River.

Motorists are asked to use the Bay Roberts and North River exits as needed. Expect delays in the foreseeable future.
