Security detains theft suspect at business in St. John's

On Tuesday evening, the RNC responded to a business on Torbay Road in St. John’s to a report of a theft in progress.

Security at the business had detained a 36-year-old male for theft. The man resisted the security.

The male was arrested and charged with robbery with violence and breach of probation.

He was held to appear in court this morning.
