Section of T’Railway Temporarily Approved for Heavy Equipment Use

A portion of the T’Railway Provincial Park near Maccles Lake has been temporarily approved for use by heavy equipment. As a result, the public are being encouraged to exercise caution when travelling in the area.

The approval has been granted along a 20 kilometer section of the T’Railway in the Cabin Pond-Maccles Lake area to provide access to a commercial forest harvesting operation located in Forest Management District 5. It is anticipated forestry activity will commence this week and continue until fall 2020.
