Section of East White Hills Road closing for three weeks

A section of East White Hills Road in St. John’s will close for approximately three weeks starting October 13 to allow for storm and sanitary sewer work.

The closure affects the portion of the road between Newfoundland Drive and Harding Road and is expected to remain in place until November 3, subject to change.

Traffic will be detoured via Newfoundland Drive, Logy Bay Road and Harding Road. Local access will be maintained.

The City of St. John’s says detour signs will be in place and motorists should follow posted signage, barricades and directions from on-site personnel.
