Landwash Brewing recalls Smiling Land 12-packs over cans popping

Landwash Brewing and the Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation (NLC) are pulling Smiling Land 12-packs with the date code 2026/05/02 after reports of cans popping.

In a statement, the brewery says it received reports of a small number of cans popping and decided to withdraw the affected batch as a precaution.

The brewery says the issue does not affect all Smiling Land cans. Only 12-packs bearing the specified date code are included in the recall.
