Seats Added to Family Medicine Residency Program at MUN

The provincial government is adding five more seats to the Family Medicine Residency Program for International Medical Graduates at Memorial University’s Faculty of Medicine.

Successful applicants will begin their training on July 1, 2023.

These new seats will provide graduates who want to return to Canada to practice medicine the opportunity to do so.

Currently, there are 80 residency seats in total that are allocated across the various training programs offered by the Faculty of Medicine. The Family Medicine residency program accounts for 35 of these seats.
