Search Ends For Missing Person in Gander Bay

The search has ended for a missing person that was involved in a Sea-Doo accident in Gander Bay on Saturday.

The Canadian Coast Guard, RCMP, and local volunteer fire departments assisted in the search.

One person was rescued after someone on the shore saw what had happened. The second person was not wearing a life jacket.

The Canadian Coast Guard says it believes there is no longer a reasonable chance of survival.

The search winded down at sunset.
