SaltWire Network shutters flyer production in Newfoundland and Labrador

SaltWire Network has announced that due to a decrease in flyer demand, the company will be moving the packaging of Newfoundland flyers to Nova Scotia.

As a result, 27 people have received layoff notices. The company expected the final number to be lower as some of those employees will be offered other jobs within the company.

The company operated a plant on Austin Street in St. John's but will now move the production to Halifax.
