Road rage incident in downtown St. John's involving weapon

On Saturday evening the RNC responded to an assault complaint in the downtown area of St. John's. Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that there was a road rage incident.

During the incident, the 59-year-old male suspect had allegedly assaulted the male victim with a weapon.

Officers located and arrested the man, releasing him to appear in court at a later date for assault with a weapon and breaching a probation order.
