Road closures for St John's Pride Parade

The St. John's Pride Parade takes place on Sunday. The parade will begin on New Gower Street in front of City Hall, and travel East on Duckworth Street, before turning up Ordinance Street, onto Military Road, and ending in Bannerman Park.

The parade will begin at noon.

To accommodate the safe passage of the parade and pedestrians, there will be several road closures and no parking zones:

Road Closures

• New Gower Street Eastbound (from Waldegrave Street to Duckworth Street) – 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• New Gower Street West Bound (from Long’s Hill to Waldegrave Street) - 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Duckworth Street (Duckworth to Church Hill) - 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Duckworth Street (Church Hill to Ordinance Street) - 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Ordinance Street - 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Military Road (from Cavendish Square to Bannerman Road) - 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Bannerman Road (from Military Road to the Park Entrance) - 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

No Parking/Designated Tow Away Zones

• New Gower Street Eastbound (from Waldegrave Street to Duckworth Street)

• Duckworth Street (New Gower Street to Ordinance Street)

• Bannerman Road (from Military Road to the Park Entrance)

Parking is limited for the event, and alternative forms of transportation are encouraged, as is parade attendees being dropped off. Parking along the parade path is not permitted for the above noted times.
