The RNC has 17 new officers after a swearing-in ceremony earlier this week.

The officers graduated from the Atlantic Police Academy in Prince Edward Island last week.

Graduates took the Oath of Office and were presented with breast shields by Chief Patrick Roche, Deputy Chief Stephanie Lagace, and Deputy Chief Colin McNeil.

These officers will be assigned to a coach officer in the Corner Brook and the Northeast Avalon Regions.

The RNC is recruiting for January 2026. Currently, the RNC has a class of 18 recruits attending the Atlantic Police Academy, with another 20 anticipated to begin their training in the new year.
