RNC tracks down impaired driver in Portugal Cove-St Philip's.


  • On August 2nd, 2024, shortly after 5:00 p.m. Operational Patrol Services responded to a report of a possible impaired driver, The suspect vehicle was on Thorburn Road at the time of the report.


  • Operational Patrol Services responded and located the vehicle in question in Portugal Cove-St Philip's a short time later.


  • The 58 year-old male was believed to be under the influence of alcohol and was taken in for a breathalyzer, The male failed the breathalyzer test and was charged with failing a breathalyzer and impaired driving.


  • The male will appear in court at a later date.
