RNC stop drunk driver with expired tags

Shortly after 1:00 am this morning the RNC in Corner Brook stopped a vehicle that had tags that were expired for over two months.

The officer smelled an alcoholic beverage emanating from the driver’s breath and conducted a roadside test. In the test, the driver blew a warning.

His vehicle was seized for seven days.

The man now faces charges of operating a vehicle without valid registration and operating an uninsured vehicle.
