31-year-old charged following downtown disturbance

A 31-year-old person is facing multiple charges following a report of a suspicious person in the downtown area Monday night.

RNC responded to the report around 9:30 p.m. on September 21.

Police say an investigation led to the person being charged with causing a disturbance, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest.

The accused was held in custody to appear in court Tuesday morning.
