Person Taken to Hospital Following Multi-Vehicle Collision in St. John’s

One person was taken to hospital on Tuesday following a multi-vehicle collision in the west-end of St. John’s.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Columbus Drive and Blackmarsh Road just after 11:05 a.m.. Firefighters from nearby West End station arrived to a three-vehicle collision.

As a result of the collision, all three vehicles sustained significant damage. One person was taken to hospital following the collision with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Traffic was slowed in the area as tow truck operators and firefighters worked to clear the collision.
