RNC stop driver owing $13,600 in fines

Shortly after midnight, the RNC conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Terra Nova Road in St. John’s.

Police determined that the 39-year-old male driver was operating with a suspended license and had over $13,600.00 in outstanding fines.

The vehicle was impounded and the driver was ticketed for having no license. The accused will appear in court at a later date.
