RNC seizes two vehicles after drivers exceed 150 km/h on Saturday morning

On Saturday, two drivers were ticketed and had their licenses suspended for speeding over 150 km/h in St. John's.


The first incident occurred on the Trans-Canada Highway outside of St. John's, where an 18-year-old male driver was observed traveling at 170 km/h in a 100 km/h zone. The driver was ticketed and had his license suspended.


The second incident occurred on Team Gushue Highway in St. John's, where a 40-year-old male driver was observed traveling at 159 km/h in an 80 km/h zone. The driver was ticketed, had his license suspended, and his vehicle was seized.
