Police say the incident occurred sometime between 11 p.m. on April 7 and 9 a.m. on April 8 in the Rabbittown area. An individual gained access to a residence and removed a firearm that had been stored inside a gun cabinet.
The stolen firearm is described as a Winchester 75 .22-calibre single-shot rifle. Investigators believe the firearm may be inoperable.
