RNC Searching for Man Following Assault Investigation

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a St. John’s man wanted in connection with a disturbance and assault investigation in Portugal Cove–St. Philip’s.
Police say that on the afternoon of Dec. 26, 2025, Operational Patrol Services responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the community. Upon arrival, officers learned that a woman had been assaulted by a man known to her. The suspect fled the area on foot before police arrived.
As a result of the investigation, Christopher Michael Tucker, born March 10, 1984, is now wanted on multiple charges, including break and enter, assault causing bodily harm, assault, two counts of uttering threats, and mischief.
Tucker, 41, is described as being approximately 5’8” tall, weighing about 200 pounds, with blonde hair and green eyes. Police believe he is actively evading officers.
