RNC say TLH open near Churchill Falls

The RNC says emergency services continue efforts to contain a fire near Churchill Falls.

Crews are monitoring any risk to public safety.

Traffic is presently able to pass on the Trans-Labrador Highway, east of Churchill Falls.

In western Labrador, the fire danger is listed as Extreme meaning new fires will start very easily, spread rapidly, and challenge fire suppression efforts.
